About the Front Porch Stories

The Front Porch Stories were born out of a love of writing and a longing to reach those who might feel alone or forgotten.

These stories are fiction, but some of the names, locations, and events are inspired from my own family and childhood. I had the very best grandparents a girl could ask for, and these stories are written from their perspective.

My prayer is that these stories transport your loved one to a different time and bring back a flood of memories as they read the events throughout the year from Ethel's front porch. My mission is to remind your loved one that they matter, they have a place in the world, and they are loved. After all, their story isn't over.
